Sequence City recently revealed that it conducted a 'Winter Preparedness Special Safety Inspection' at the site of the new city hall construction project on the 24th, to proactively respond to seasonal hazards such as cold snaps and heavy snowfall.
This inspection was carried out to prevent winter-related accidents and ensure the quality of the construction project, with the participation of the construction project management team and the contractors.
During the inspection, they verified various factors including the establishment and implementation of winter safety management plans, the management status of major hazards such as falling, sliding, and collapse, the condition of on-site safety facilities like scaffolding, cranes, and work platforms, winter preparedness for concrete curing, insulation, and material storage, work routes and access control on-site, fire and electrocution hazard areas, snow removal and ice prevention equipment, and emergency response systems.
Mayor No Gwang-gyu visited the site and emphasized the importance of safety regulations and pre-inspection during the winter season, urging for prioritization of safety and quality management to ensure the peace of mind of the citizens.
The City of Sequence plans to strengthen the safety management level at the new city hall construction site during the winter season by immediately addressing the issues pointed out during the inspection and conducting additional safety inspections if necessary.
