Pungnak-dong in Suncheon revealed that children from the local Ocheonbo daycare center visited the administrative welfare center on the 24th to present a small Christmas performance for the elders participating in the Hanja calligraphy class.
This event aimed to foster communication between the local community and different generations.
The daycare children prepared songs and dances, entertaining the elderly participants and providing a heartwarming experience.
The interaction between the generations created a meaningful moment, also touching the hearts of other visitors at the administrative welfare center.
One of the grateful elders shared, "The children made my day so enjoyable, it felt like seeing my grandchildren, and my heart warmed." Pungnak-dong Mayor Chae Suk-hui expressed her commitment to continue organizing events where generations can naturally mingle and empathize with each other, working towards creating a warm and connected Pungnak-dong community.
