장흥군가족센터, 11월 가족 사랑의 날 ‘티아라 케이크 만들기’ 성료

Hwangheung Family Center (Director Park Hye-young) successfully concluded its Family Love Day program for this year with the 'Tiara Cake Making' event on November 19th (Wednesday). This program was part of the Women's Family Department's campaign to promote a regular quitting work culture, providing a meaningful space for families to spend time together and communicate. The Family Love Day program, which ran from March to November this year, comprised eight sessions in total, with 96 families (292 members) participating. Each session focused on various family-participatory activities to strengthen family communication and bonding. The final session, 'Tiara Cake Making', received great feedback as it allowed parents and children to decorate cakes together, creating enjoyable memories. Kim OO's family, who participated in the program, shared their thoughts: "It was a new experience, but doing it with our family brought us enjoyment, a sense of accomplishment, and we got to see our child's imagination and creativity. Sharing the completed cake made it even more meaningful and special." Center Director Park Hye-young stated, "A regular quitting work culture will help families regain quality time together," and added, "This program not only provided a simple experience but also allowed families to understand each other better and strengthen their positive relationships." She also expressed gratitude to the families who consistently participated in the monthly programs and mentioned that Hwangheung Family Center is preparing more diverse programs for families to enjoy next year. The center aims to continue supporting and working towards a more family-friendly environment in the future.
