The need for outreach programs and support for areas with limited access to public libraries was also discussed. The committee decided to name the Okgwa Children's Reading Culture Space, which is scheduled to reopen in the first half of 2026, as "Byeolbit Cheokssuk" (Starry Book Forest), reflecting the opinions of local children and residents. Gwangseong Gun plans to incorporate the diverse opinions discussed in this meeting into future library operations and service improvements. Gwangseong Public Library, with Gwangseong Children's Library at its core, has been recognized as a regional reading culture hub, with 50,385 library users, 27,759 book users, and 7,130 program users in 2025.
