From this month until the 21st, Eng County (County Mayor: U Winsu) will accept applications for participation in the "Youth Participation Point System," which aims to promote the activities and involvement of young people in the region. This system, operated by awarding points to youths who participate in county affairs, allows accumulated points to be converted into monthly payments and used as cash. The Youth Participation Point System is available for Eng County residents aged between 19 and 49 years old. Various activities, such as attending educational lectures, promoting information, verifying visits to tourist attractions, and social networking service (SNS) promotion, offer points. Points are awarded at varying rates per activity, and individuals can accumulate up to a maximum of 200,000 points. To participate in the point system, applicants need to submit the participation application form, along with photographic evidence, a copy of their identification card, a resident registration certificate, and a remuneration conversion application to the Eng County Population Youth Department in person or via email (kds0031@korea.kr). Kim Sun-mi, head of the Eng County Population Youth Department, stated, "We will strengthen the foundation for youth participation in local affairs and continuously support activities that connect them to the local community."
